Our blog covers everything from Fitness to Mindfulness. Healing isn't changing how you feel, its healing who you are.
Mindfulness and meditation are often expressed together and seem to be synonymous but the simplest way to define mindfulness according to the American Psychological Association, “is an awareness of one’s internal states and surroundings.”

I help people who are limited by pain reach their fitness goals by correcting dysfunctional movement patterns and building strength from the inside out without taking weeks off or relying on creams and medications to get through their workouts.
I know the feeling of trying everything I could to keep the pain away as I apprehensively attempted to complete the workout I initially planned, only to stop early because I knew the rest of my workout would suffer if I continued.
From my experience playing college sports, 10 years of personal training, and practicing physical therapy across the United States, I have found there is a big gap between corrective exercise, fitness, and longevity.
One of the most common things I hear from my clients is that they have stopped exercising because they are afraid they will make it worse. My approach is always to get them back into a routine, but something that is tailored to their specific needs.
This was the same advice I was always given whenever I had an injury, sore joints, or muscle aches. My parents, coaches, and even doctors told me I needed to take time off, but that was the last thing I wanted to do. I always thought, why do I have to stop? Can’t I manage it and still do what I love?
The answer is YES, you can.
Movement is MEDICINE and motion is the lotion that lubricates your joints and makes your muscles more supple.
The reality is exercise will be the only way to correct the impairments that are causing your pain and dysfunctional movement patterns, but it has to be the right kind of exercise.
Anyone can look up exercises for shoulder pain, back pain, and hip pain. Or what the best workout routine is for building muscle, and burning fat.
From years of athletics and hard training, I’ve seen this play out both personally and professionally, generic workouts don’t fix the problems.
Intelligently directed exercise does.
I wanted to teach people not only how to look good but how to feel great doing it.
That's why I created The Ideal Body Blueprint, a 3-phase approach that will teach you how to reduce your pain and get into the best shape of your life.
There is no reason why you can’t train hard, look great, and do it all without waking up stiff and inflamed day after day.
I will teach you how to train your body so it will EMPOWER your life rather than slow you down.
Don’t let weeks go by hoping it will go away on its own only to realize it has slowly gotten worse, stop it in its tracks now, and don’t waste another day.
I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University, I'm certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have 10 years of experience working with people like you as a personal trainer and physical therapist. My love for personal development and fitness have fueled my pursuit for more knowledge. My purpose is to help others achieve their lifestyle goals with the experience I've gained following my passions.
